The Instacoll series from Kölner, a German gilding specialist, is an innovative water-based gilding solvent that allows you to easily achieve a high-gloss finish comparable to traditional burnished gold leafing.
Highly durable and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the Instacoll range is extremely versatile and can be used on almost any substrate provided the proper surface is prepared.
Kolner Instacoll Activator is a special solution that reactivates dried out Instacoll base, making it foil-ready again.
[How to use]
1. Allow the Instacoll base to dry completely before use.
2. Apply a very thin and even layer of activator to the surface.
3. Let it dry for 5 to 10 minutes.
4. The surface is now ready for gold or silver leaf application again.
*Reactivation is possible any number of times, but please be aware of the following when applying foil:
- Make sure the surface is dry before applying the foil.
- Avoid contact of the activator directly with the metal foil as this may cause discoloration and unevenness in the finish.

For Domestic Shipments
We ship via Yamato Transport's Takkyubin service. A shipping fee of 800 yen (Hokkaido/Kyushu: 1,200 yen, Chugoku/Shikoku: 1,000 yen, Okinawa: 1,500 yen) will be charged per shipment.
*Shipping is free for orders totaling 8,800 yen or more.
For International Shipments
We ship via FedEx, excluding some products. Shipping costs are borne by the customer.
*Products are shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). Please be aware that customers are responsible for any customs duties or taxes incurred.
Returns Deadline and Conditions
Returns are accepted within 7 days of the product arrival date.
After this period, we will not be able to accept requests for returns or exchanges, so please be aware of this.
We also accept returns due to customer convenience (only in the following cases):
・Unopened and unused products
・Excluding personal orders/sale items
・Please contact us by email within 5 days of product arrival.
Return Shipping Costs
Please note that for returns due to customer convenience, the bank transfer fees and shipping costs will be borne by the customer.
For exchanges of defective products or incorrect deliveries, the cost will be borne by our company.
Defective Products
While we take every precaution to ensure the quality of our products, in the event that a product is damaged or soiled, or if it is different from the product ordered, please contact us within 7 days of product arrival. We will promptly issue a refund or exchange. When returning a product, we kindly request that you contact us by email in advance.
