The Instacoll series from Kölner, a German gilding specialist, is an innovative water-based gilding solvent that makes it easy to achieve a high gloss finish that rivals traditional burnished gold foil.
Highly durable and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the Instacoll series is extremely versatile and can be used on almost any substrate provided the proper substrate is applied.
Kölner Instacoll Base is a high performance adhesive specially designed for interior and exterior gilding with gold and silver leaf. It is available in clear color.
Foil application using Instacoll base will create a raised foil finish.
[How to use]
1. Using a brush or spray device, apply Instacoll Base to the area to be foiled.
2. After application, allow to dry for approximately 1 hour. Once dry, the surface will be suitable for foil application for approximately 1 hour.
3. If the area to be foiled is small, moisten the area where you applied the Instacoll base by blowing on it, then carefully adhere the gold, silver or other metallic foil to it.
*If the foil area is large or the Instacoll base has dried out and lost its adhesive properties, it can be reactivated using Instacoll Activator .

For Domestic Shipments
We ship via Yamato Transport's Takkyubin service. A shipping fee of 800 yen (Hokkaido/Kyushu: 1,200 yen, Chugoku/Shikoku: 1,000 yen, Okinawa: 1,500 yen) will be charged per shipment.
*Shipping is free for orders totaling 8,800 yen or more.
For International Shipments
We ship via FedEx, excluding some products. Shipping costs are borne by the customer.
*Products are shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). Please be aware that customers are responsible for any customs duties or taxes incurred.
Returns Deadline and Conditions
Returns are accepted within 7 days of the product arrival date.
After this period, we will not be able to accept requests for returns or exchanges, so please be aware of this.
We also accept returns due to customer convenience (only in the following cases):
・Unopened and unused products
・Excluding personal orders/sale items
・Please contact us by email within 5 days of product arrival.
Return Shipping Costs
Please note that for returns due to customer convenience, the bank transfer fees and shipping costs will be borne by the customer.
For exchanges of defective products or incorrect deliveries, the cost will be borne by our company.
Defective Products
While we take every precaution to ensure the quality of our products, in the event that a product is damaged or soiled, or if it is different from the product ordered, please contact us within 7 days of product arrival. We will promptly issue a refund or exchange. When returning a product, we kindly request that you contact us by email in advance.
