Eleanor Winters Book Launch and Japan Visit Commemorative Workshop
World-renowned calligrapher Eleanor Winters is coming to Japan!
To celebrate the Japanese publication of her bestseller, "Mastering Copperplate Calligraphy," we are holding a special workshop.

From "writing" calligraphy to "expressing" art.
In this workshop, you will learn techniques to bring "color" to letters and depict "scenes" from words.
In calligraphy, "color" is one of the most powerful tools for conveying the meaning and emotion of words.
Expand your expressive range by answering questions like, "How can I broaden the expression of Copperplate script?" and "What art materials are best?"

【Content】
Gouache techniques, color mixing, basic layout principles, design exercises

1. Master Gouache (Opaque Watercolor) Learn the fundamentals of using gouache, the most beloved art material by calligraphers. Discover how to achieve beautiful color, opacity, and rich color effects with a pointed pen.

2. Acquire Design "Thinking" Beyond just writing, we introduce basic layout principles. Develop the ability to beautifully compose an entire piece through the "selection" process, considering letter size, texture, and color combinations.

3. Practical Trials Challenge yourself with multiple layouts using short phrases. Through trial and error, develop an "eye" to objectively evaluate your work.

Why not adorn your favorite words with unique colors and designs? A door to new possibilities opens here.
