World-renowned calligrapher Eleanor Winters is coming to Japan!
To celebrate the Japanese release of her bestseller, "Mastering Copperplate Calligraphy," we will be holding a special workshop.

This workshop will begin with a talk session where Ms. Winters will share insights into her calligraphy journey and the creative process behind her work.
Following this, we will conduct a "Refresh Course" to revisit the fundamentals of this beautiful script, which dates back to the 18th century.

・Oblique holder (for Copperplate, left-handers may use a straight holder)
・Pointed nibs (Nikko G pen, Tachikawa G pen, Hunt 56, etc. recommended)
・Non-waterproof ink (Higgins, Quink, Waterman, Pelikan 4001, etc. recommended)

Eleanor Winters Profile

A calligrapher active for nearly 40 years, traveling between New York and Paris.
She served as the Director of the Calligraphy Workshop in New York for 25 years, taught as an art professor at Long Island University from 1990 to 2005, and currently serves on the faculty of the New York Society of Scribes Calligraphy School.
Her books include "Calligraphy in Ten Easy Lessons," "Mastering Copperplate Calligraphy," "Calligraphy for Kids," "Calligraphy 1-2-3!," and "Italic and Copperplate Calligraphy."
