~Cursive writing with everyday pens and heat pen foiling~
Do you want to get more enjoyment out of your favorite glass pens, fountain pens, and other pens you already own, rather than leaving them unused?
An 8-session course will begin, where you can deeply learn "monoline cursive" which can be enjoyed with all types of everyday writing instruments.
In the first half, you will carefully learn everything from strokes that bring out the beauty of letters, to the balance of words and phrases, and even shading that adds rich expression to lines, all with your favorite writing instrument in hand.
Then, in December, we will move on to the technique of "Foiling using a heat pen."
In the new year, you will create and present a work as a graduation project, incorporating all the techniques you have refined so far.
For all those who love writing, we will deliver ten months filled with the joy of handwriting. A "certificate of completion" will be awarded at the end of the course.

June: Enjoying monoline lines that can be expressed with various tools
July: Basic strokes and lowercase letters of monoline cursive
September: Uppercase letters of monoline cursive
October: Word/phrase practice by connecting letters (one line)
November: Try adding shading from a single line (tips for drawing and letter spacing)
December: Development of monoline cursive — Foiling (*Please bring your own heat pen)
February: Work creation
March: Work presentation
*If you do not have a heat pen, this is recommended.

Thursday Class (10:00-12:00): 6/11, 7/9, 9/10, 10/8, 11/12, 12/10, and 2 other dates
*Classes will be suspended in August and January.
*Dates for February and March 2027 will be announced around November.

【What to prepare for the first session】
Pencil, eraser, Zoom connection device
*Although one device can be used to connect to Zoom, we recommend using two devices: a PC or tablet to view the instructor's hands, and a smartphone or similar device to show your own hands.

Textbook (data will be sent), Maki Shimano original glass pen, ballpoint pen, Ferris Wheel Press Paper Tree exclusive ink
