This is a 4-session Engraving Advance Lesson by Mico calligraphy.
You will learn how to engrave letters and decorations as if drawing with an engraver, and how to freely engrave on various materials.
We will also introduce how to utilize engraving.
If you are unsure about operating an engraver, please participate in the Basic Lesson.
【Curriculum】
Session 1: How to retouch and depth of engraving (comparison of diamond bits)
Session 2: Different materials (acrylic, wood, stainless steel, etc.)
Session 3: Arrangement (engraving plants and initial decorations)
Session 4: Finishing your original work
*You will be asked to submit assignments via email each time, and we will provide feedback.

*Regarding engraver equipment, we recommend our store's equipment, but any equipment with a rotation speed of 350rpm or more is acceptable.

【Mico calligraphy | Michiko Komatsu Profile】
Encountered modern calligraphy in 2019, was captivated by its beautiful and free expression, and took the regular course of the Japan Modern Calligraphy Association in 2020
Became a certified member of Scrittore in February 2022.
Since then, she has held workshops and regular lessons at cafes and hotels in Tokyo, while also working on wedding items and diploma calligraphy.
Started a calligraphy engraving service using an engraver in December 2022.
Worked on event engraving services at perfume brand stores.
Excels in both casual and classical, elegant lettering styles.
