[Beginner] Modern Calligraphy 1-Day Lesson: October

This workshop is intended for those who wish to learn modern calligraphy from the basics.
It is recommended for those who:
　・Have tried using a textbook but are unsure if their grip or angle is correct
　・Have purchased a kit but need an incentive to get started
　・Would like to participate in a workshop for the first time, etc.
We are here to support you and respond to the requests we have received from everyone.

All necessary tools for the lesson will be provided, so beginners are welcome to join us.

【Content】Basic (Preparation, basic strokes, alphabet)
【Items to bring】None
*It is recommended to bring a bag to carry home your A4-size textbook.
*If you have your own tools, you are welcome to bring your own practice ink, pen holder (oblique or straight), and nib (pointed nib).

【Instructor Profiles】
●Yuko Toba
Encountered modern calligraphy in 2018 through a wedding.
Since then, she has been captivated by the world of calligraphy and has begun learning various styles.
She specializes in expressions that incorporate offhand flourishing and drawing.
Drawn into the world of flat lay photography that enhances the aesthetic of calligraphy, she explores expressions combining the paper flowers she creates with her calligraphy every day.
As a certified member of the Japan Modern Calligraphy Association (Scritier), she handles diploma calligraphy, event calligraphy, and product creation.

●Shiho Yoshimoto
In 2014, while staying in the U.S., she encountered calligraphy through the culture of exchanging greeting cards and was captivated by its beauty.
After learning traditional styles, she moved on to master modern calligraphy.
In 2023, she became a certified member of the Japan Modern Calligraphy Association (Scritier).
She is active in various areas such as book features, table coordination proposals to decorate spaces, and salon lessons, focusing on high-quality expression.
