This is a workshop led by designer/artist DLOP.
"I'm not good at drawing, so I can't do it."
"I like looking at characters, but I don't know how to draw them."
Even if that sounds like you, don't worry.
In this workshop, we'll learn together about the concepts behind creating characters and how to form shapes, as you draw your very own original character.
Horns, fangs, limbs, tails, patterns.
By combining your favorite things and images—"strong," "cute," "mysterious," "cool"—your one-of-a-kind character will be born into the world.
We will guide you through drawing techniques and idea generation tips using a guidebook, so even those who lack confidence in drawing or children can participate with peace of mind.
