[DAIKANYAMA drawing] Shiho Sakurai - Enjoy the World of Lace Through Hand-Drawing, October 17 & 25

This is a workshop led by illustrator and designer Shiho Sakurai.

In this workshop, you will learn to draw delicate and elaborate single-point illustrations and frames by combining classical lace motifs with botanical illustrations.
You can participate with your preferred tools, such as a glass pen or calligraphy pen.

Shiho Sakurai Profile

Illustrator/Designer
Born in Tokyo. After graduating from the Department of Sculpture, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts, she worked as an art teacher at private junior and senior high schools and in product planning for baby goods before becoming independent. She is widely involved in providing artwork for various fields, textile design, teaching, and supervising educational materials.
Her books include "Trace, Draw, Give, and Decorate: First Glass Pen Lesson Book" (Hobby Japan) and "Botanical Illustration & Hand Lettering Lesson: Easy to Draw in 10 Minutes Even for Beginners" (KADOKAWA).
