Kölner Miniatum Gel 3D Gilding Ink

Miniatum Gel 3D from Kölner, a German brand specializing in gilding products, is an adhesive used for gilding (decorations) using gold leaf, silver leaf, etc.
Like regular Miniatum, it is flexible and produces a beautiful finish, but because it has a gel-like, heavy texture, it is suitable for creating more three-dimensional works and can be used not only on paper and leather, but also on canvas and plastic.
The raised areas reflect light strongly, creating striking highlights, while the recessed areas create shadows, creating a dramatic, three-dimensional effect in combination with the sheen of the metallic foil.

The ink's elasticity (flexibility) makes it less likely to crack and ensures a beautiful finish that will last for a long time.
It can be used on flexible materials such as paper, parchment, leather, and plastic film.

[How to use]
1. Clean the surface where you will be applying the foil. Be especially careful not to leave any oil or dust on the surface, as this will prevent the foil from adhering properly.
2. Apply Miniatum Gel 3D to the areas you want to raise with a brush, palette knife, or modeling tool. By applying a thick layer, you can create a shading effect.
3. After drying for at least 3 hours until the surface becomes "transparent and slightly tacky," gently place the transfer foil on top and press lightly with a cotton swab or soft brush. Gently pressing down on the raised corners and fine details will help you achieve a beautiful finish.
4. Brush off any excess foil.

*Applying too thickly at once may cause cracks or bubbles. Apply multiple coats as needed.
*If it is within 5 days after application, the adhesive strength will be restored if you lightly blow warm air on it using a hair dryer or similar.
*Please store this product in a sealed container at room temperature (approximately 18-22°C).
