We are now accepting applications for the "Copperplate Basic Class" by Rise Koizumi, a calligrapher highly popular for her sophisticated lettering style!
This is a six-month course where you will master the Copperplate script through monthly in-person lessons and attentive feedback.
● Copperplate Basic Class Oct. 2026 – Mar. 2027 (6 sessions total)
This class is designed for those who are new to calligraphy or the Copperplate script, or for those who wish to rebuild their foundations from scratch. You will solidify the base for beautiful lettering, from fundamental strokes to the formation of the alphabet.
*For those with experience in the Copperplate script, we recommend enrolling in the Advanced Class. Priority for the Advanced Class is given to students moving up from the Basic Class. If there are vacancies, we plan to open registration to the general public.———————
