Introducing <Calligraphy> +α items

In addition to the basic tools for calligraphy, we will introduce some additional items that are useful to have.

Clipboard

If you just place the practice paper on the desk, it won't have enough cushioning and the pen tip will get caught easily.
We recommend laying down a board or mat like the one in the photo.

Nib Case

A nib case for storing nibs. As your stock and variety of nibs increases, it's convenient to have a case to store them all together.

Lighting mat

Even if ink splashes, it can be wiped off easily without staining, and the cushioning prevents the nib from getting caught. Another advantage is that it can be rolled up and put in the special bag for carrying and storing.

Inkwell

With large ink bottles such as Higgins , it becomes difficult to dip the nib as the ink gradually runs low, and leaving the lid open can lead to the ink deteriorating, so it is recommended to transfer the ink to another container before using it.

Additionally, there are products that angle the ink bottle to make it easier to dip the nib.

A cup of water to wash calligraphy nibs and kitchen paper.
It is recommended that the water cup not be too large so that it is easier to wash the nibs.

Stationery box

This box is perfect for storing and carrying calligraphy items such as holders, nibs, ink, rulers, and pencils.

The inside has a side where you can secure holders and rulers with an elastic band, a deeper side with a divider, and a zippered pocket, and the cushioning allows you to store your important holders.
