We are pleased to announce a special online course by world-renowned calligraphy artist Dao Huy Hoang.
English Roundhand is one of the most influential calligraphy styles, having developed in England in the 17th and 18th centuries as the origin of modern script typefaces and widely used in business and legal documents.
In this talk show, we will clearly explain the characteristics of each style with abundant demonstrations, from typefaces from the early Renaissance, to the rise and fall of typefaces from the 17th to 19th centuries, and typefaces that developed in America.
What is the difference between Copperplate and Anglaise? Italian Hand, English Roundhand, Engrosser's Script, Spencerian. We hope that this will be an opportunity for you to deepen your knowledge of calligraphy by understanding the "lineage" of various pointed pen typefaces.
